In a literary career stretching back nearly ten years, and reflecting an inquisitive interest in many aspects of Irish life whilst growing up in the Birmingham Irish community in England, nurtured by regular visits to Ireland prior to settling there permanently in 2002, Michael has become a prolific story writer.
The topics embraced by Michael’s writings embrace Irish history and heritage, nostalgia, rural life and more general subjects and his stories have been published in a number of magazines and journals, for example, Ireland’s Own, Ireland’s Eye, the Hibernian and The Harp.
